Description: Ten quartz crystal groups of medium to high quality, ranging in length from 38 - 63 mm. The five darker specimens are from the Northern Cape, while the five clear / semi-clear ones are quartz from the Western Cape, mined by ourselves. The dark colouration is caused by hematite inclusions. Below are examples of those included in the lot. The top right one has goethite attached to it, and there are a few floaters. One of the WC specimens has a few minute chlorite inclusions. Follow this link for more information on these. Some
