Description: A few semi-transparent amethyst quartz crystals share a quartz matrix with very small quartz crystals, which have a mainly light amethyst colouring. The main crystal (which grew horizontally) appears to be without any damage, while the other crystals have only the minutest of nicks. Some of the very small crystals have some damage. There are bits of stubborn clay attached to the specimen. On the side where the specimen parted from its greater matrix, there is a small, exposed geode. On that side of the specimen is a contact mark towards the back of the main crystal. Weight
