Smoky Quartz Crystal with Hyalite Opal – NAM 027

Measurements:  64 x 35 x 27 mm

Description:  A smoky quartz crystal with bits of schorl and hyalite opal on the biggest surface. It should fluoresce under ultraviolet light. 

The termination has a few small nicks, while the rest of the crystal has a few pressure marks. 

Weight of Specimen:  66.0 g

                                        SiO₂•1.5(H₂O) (basic opal)  

Hardness on Mohs Scale:  (quartz)  7
