Quartz Crystal Group with Hematite and Feldspar – NAM 028

Measurements:  85 x 62 x 45 mm

Description:  A group of quartz crystals with bits of hematite and feldspar. The yellow mineral on the specimen is unknown to us. 

Some of the crystals have nicks.

Weight of Specimen:  181.5 g

Chemical Composition:  SiO₂  (quartz)
                                       KAlSi₃O₈  (feldspar)        

Hardness on Mohs Scale:  (quartz)  7
                                          (feldspar)  6 - 6.5

Location:  Erongo Mountains, Erongo Region, Namibia.
