Smoky Quartz with Fluorite – NC 002

Measurements:  110 x 70 x 60 mm

Description:  A group of smoky quartz crystals with one fluorite crystal. The fluorite crystal has some iron oxide captured beneath its surface. Bits of feldspar are scattered on parts of the specimen. 

The fluorite crystal has only very small nicks. The large quartz crystal  has a nick on its termination and adjoining ridge, while the rest of the specimen has contact and pressure marks, and flaws. The bottom of the specimen and an area at the back, have been trimmed. 

The specimen displays well on a flat surface.
