Quartz crystal cluster with hematite

Measurements:  97 x 75 x 40 mm

Description:  A cluster of quartz crystals with hematite inclusions (some phantoms), sits on a quartz and feldspar matrix, with bits of feldspar among the crystals.

Several crystals are damaged. The specimen displays well on a flat surface, all-round.

                                        KAlSi3O8 (feldspar)

Hardness on Mohs Scale:  (quartz) 7
                                          (feldspar) 6 - 6.5
