Description: Citrine quartz crystals with inclusions, that could be hematite, sit on a quartz / basalt matrix.
These crystals were originally amethyst, but were then baked at a high temperature, which turned the colour to citrine.
The specimen has a few nicks. It displays well on a flat surface, all-round. The base of the matrix has been trimmed.
