Solid chalcedony aggregate with superficial botryioidal aggregates

Measurements:  78 x 70 x 40 mm

Description: solid aggregate of chalcedony with some botryioidal aggregates on its surface. The bits of greenish colouring is caused by inclusions of celadonite, a mineral in the mica group.   

The specimen, which is two-sided, has a few small nicks.

Background: These specimens first appeared on the global mineral market in 2016. Although they are fairly abundant at the moment, it is not known how much of this treasure is still left in the ground.
