Two-tone cluster chalcedony aggregates

Measurements:  60 x 58 x 47 mm

Description:  A cluster of pale amethyst and green botryoidal chalcedony aggregates. The greenish colouring is caused by a coating / inclusions of celadonite.

The display side of the specimen has relatively little damage, while towards the back and bottom, there are areas of a partially exposed whitish mineral.

Background: These specimens first appeared on the global mineral market in 2016. Although they are fairly abundant at the moment, it is not known how much of this treasure is still left in the ground.
