Measurements: 75 x 75 x 35 mm Description: Citrine quartz crystals sit on a matrix of quartz and a thin layer of basalt. The crystals were originally amethyst, but the specimen was then baked at a high temperature (roughly 400 degrees C) for about half a day, which turned the colour to citrine.
