Description: Citrine quartz crystals sit on a matrix of quartz and a thin layer of basalt.
The crystals were originally amethyst, but the specimen was then baked at a high temperature (roughly 400 degrees C) for about half a day, which turned the colour to citrine.
The only notable damage is to the edges of the specimen.
