Description: Lovely 'citrine' quartz crystals with several bits of hematite inclusions, sit on a quartz and basalt matrix. The crystals were originally amethyst, but the specimen was then baked at a high temperature (roughly 400 degrees C) for about half a day, which turned the colour to citrine.The only notable damage is to the edges of the specimen.
