Smithsonite on Chalcocite - TS 013

Description:  A cluster of smithsonite crystals, partly coated with a thin layer of chalcocite, sits on a chalcocite matrix. 

The specimen has a few nicks.

                                        Cu₂S (chalcocite)

Hardness on Mohs Scale:  (smithsonite) 4-5   
                                           (chalcocite) 2.5 - 3

Location:  Tsumeb, Northern Namibia.
