Two-Sided Smithsonite Specimen - TS 019

Measurements:  118 x 68 x 40 mm

Description:  A two-sided smithsonite specimen. It also has some small, reddish coloured crystals on it, which could possibly be iron oxide stained calcite. 

The specimen has a few nicks. It displays well on a flat surface.

Weight of Specimen:  370 g

Chemical Composition:  ZnCO₃  (smithsonite basic formula) 
                                        CaCO₃  (calcite)

Hardness on Mohs Scale:  (smithsonite basic formula)  4 – 5
                                          (calcite)  3
